*20 NEEDLES, 20 SYRINGE, 20 AVIL INJECTIONS, 20 BUPRENORPHINE INJECTIONS RECOVERED*The vigilant staff of PS Raj Park have arrested 01 lady drug peddler namely Nisha @ Laxmi W/o Ballu R/o Jhuggi No 124, F-6/W-49, HGI Labour Colony, Sultan Puri, Delhi, age 37 yrs along with the recovery of 20 needles, 20 syringes, 20 avil injections, 20 buprenorphine (2 ml- 5 X 4 ) injections from her possession.
*BRIEF OF THE INCIDENT & ARREST*
In order to curb the selling of illegal Drugs/Liquor in the area of Outer District, directions have been issued by Sh Sameer Sharma, DCP/OD for zero tolerance against the organised crime. It has also came into the notice that illegal injections are being sold to young students/Juveniles who are made drug addict and later these drug addicts indulge in crime and become habitual criminal. So, the main purpose is to curb the root cause of this evil practice.
Following the directions, the staff of PS Raj Park deployed secret informers and starting developing information about these kinds of drug peddlers. On 02.02.2022, the beat staff of PS Raj Park ASI Subhash, HC Jadgish and W/Ct. Neeraj were present in area for detection and prevention of crime. At about 9:30 PM, when they reached near Indus Area Phase – 1, near Mangol Puri under-pass, one secret informer met them and gave information about a lady selling illegal drug injections. Further, it was told that she is a habitual drug peddler and she had also been previously arrested in an NDPS case. The same information was apprised to senior officers and after due approval the team laid a trap on the information of secret informer. At around 10:00 pm, they saw a lady person carrying a suspicious cloth bag, the same was confirmed by the secret informer.
The dedicated team chased her, who after seeing the police party tried to escape but the police party overpowered her. She was asked the reason of running from the police but she beat about the bush and didn’t come to the point. Further she was asked about her bag but she gave changing statements about the bag and she was very much unwilling to open her bag. Her details were found to be Nisha @ Laxmi W/o Ballu R/o Jhuggi No 124, F-6/W-49, HGI Labour Colony, Sultan Puri, Delhi, age 37 yrs and during the search of her bag 20 needles, 20 syringe, 20 Avil injections, 20 Buprenorphine (2 ml- 5 X 4) injections were recovered from her bag.
Accordingly, a case vide FIR No. 494/22, U/s 20(c) NDPS Act was registered in Raj Park. The said accused was arrested and investigation was initiated.
*INTERROGATION*
During sustained interrogation, the accused disclosed that she lives at the address on rent and she is uneducated and unemployed. Her financial condition is very poor and to earn money for a living, she started selling drug injections. She is also found involved in an NDPS case vide FIR NO 603/202 U/s 20(B)(ii)A NDPS Act, PS Raj Park. She disclosed that after that case she stopped that practice but 02-03 months before she again started selling drug injections. On further enquiry, she disclosed that she buys the injections from one person namely Sonu who used to meet her at Udhyog Nagar Metro Station. The whereabouts of the alleged Sonu are not known to her. Moreover, all the possible hideouts of this alleged supplier are raided but he is not arrested yet.
*PROFILE OF ACCUSED PERSON*
• Nisha @ Laxmi W/o Ballu R/o Jhuggi No 124, F-6/W-49, HGI Labour Colony, Sultan Puri, Delhi, age 37 yrs. She is previously involved in 01 criminal case of NDPS Act. She is uneducated and unemployed.
*RECOVERY*
• 20 needles, 20 syringe, 20 avil injections, 20 buprenorphine (2 ml - 5 X 4) injections recovered.
Further investigation is being carried out to nab the drug supplier Sonu.
